Ken Gorman's interest in carpentry began at a young age. His father was a Realtor of 45 years who always had work for his boys. Ken went to college for construction, management and architectural drafting. In 1983 Ken started his own carpentry business in Boulder Colorado where he subcontracted high-end homes with multiple floor and roof elevations, he calls it "Carpentry Heaven". There he met his wife Debbie and they moved their family back home to expand their business into General Contracting.
Ken perceives himself as a designer, builder and contractor. His passion is design then build. He is always looking for design technique from many sources. His best sources are his customers. He works with his customers, sketching, floorplanning and decorating to complete their home concepts. Ken applies his years of construction experience to design a home with a sound structural design as well as a personal and unique feel. Because he has always been a builder carpenter, Ken is knowledgeable of proper construction methods and pays attention to all the details from start to finish.
